Buy it now price of £499.99

Not mine but thought it may be useful for someone else. Electric and heated!

It states they have been recovered by previous owner

Spotted them earlier, but that retrim looks poor...

Mike

I saw it as well. Nice that its electric and memory but the re-trim doesn't look very professional IMO either.

I bought them to liven up my black/black interior which, whilst functional, is a little bit austere. Hopefully they will be less pink in the flesh and will respond to some heat gun shrinking and fettling. If not, for the price paid I'll be happy to re-trim them. Perhaps even in something different. Maybe alcantara with some contrasting diamond stitching. I saw a thread here recently where someone was considering this too. The example photo they posted looked great. I'll keep my original heated non-sport seats to go back in if I part with it.

Nice one Behr! Be interested to see progress if you follow the re-trim route! :)

Nothing to do with the seats but their advert made me smile:

We like to do things differently at Classic Car Spares, a small specialist Maserati Quattroporte and BMW Z4 dismantler.
We ONLY buy exceptional cars with full service history, absolutely NO accident damage and with clear evidence of care.
Each classic is then driven daily for a few weeks prior to dismantling to test each component so please buy with confidence from fellow enthusiasts!

Take an exceptional car with full service history, evidence of care and no damage then break it :)

Thanks Kis.

They're due to be dropped off by the seller tomorrow so I'll post some honest daylight pics up of what I'm dealing with. I'm hoping the red is more... umm, red and that the sellers photos make them look pink due to the poor white balance of modern digital cameras. I reckon I can fix the alingment of the trimming with some skillful bodgery.

Anyhooo, hopefully they'll do the job for the summer and I can consider any necessary extensive renovation in the autumn/winter months. I just can't bear to not drive the Z at the moment so taking it off the road for any length of time is a no-no right now.

Now to find some red door cards...

The guy selling them will prob do you a deal for both. In fact I think it's the same person that you're buying the seats from!!

Grab those and if you don't have grey plastic then chisel the leather inserts off and fit them to your door panels. Takes some effort but red leather inserts are not common

Hopefully the inserts will match the seats as the seats weren't original leather. May be worth getting matt to photo them together to check before he delivers the seats. I've always found him to be very helpful when i've had stuff off him.
I was tempted by those seats at the time, glad they went to a forum member.

Even if they are slightly off I don't think you've got much choice? (Given the rarity). Maybe worth just purchasing anyway and then getting them dyed to a slightly lighter or darker shade (if required).
