The reds just a bit to bright, but black and cognac is just lush and it’s easy to look after

and I hate to break it to you John, but you ain’t no spring chicken either :P

:o Cheeky mare....!! I’m only 36..........and a bit.........

But they are perhaps just that bit too bright aren’t they.....I’ve seen them in the flesh and thought hmmmmm......would they get on my nerves after a while....

Cognac.......the only realistic other choice in a black car methinks, classier perhaps, is that the word....? :scratchhead:

Either red or cognac goes really well with a black car. Since after black and white, red is the next most popular colour on a black car if I was buying new I would buy it in cognac... just to be different!

The red leather in my G29 stains much more easily than the oyster cream leather in my previous BMW.

I'm having to wipe it every week as it attracts blue denim with ease.

I've got the Cognac leather in my white G29, pleased with the look and no blue denim problems despite wearing jeans daily.

I did have Kansas Red on one of my earlier E89's, fun at the time but I grew out of it :)

Every time I see photos of those seats (in any colour), with all that stitching, i can't help thinking of the characters in the DFS adverts.

Sorry

Quite surprised at all the  for the red tbh. It really is a lot brighter than the Kansas in the E89 as a few guys have stated, Dr Jon’s comment sticks in the mind about growing weary of it.....

.....bloody first world problems.....What a bind......

I'm sure it wouldn't make much difference what colour you went for cos you'll maybe not keep it long enough for it to get weary :poke:

Na haaaaa.....that’s just where you’re wrong Nigel me boy.....I’m being mega picky as all being well it WILL be a keeper.....smart arse..... :poke: :P

In my view the Cognac coloured seats would look better if they had contrasting coloured panels in them.I suppose you could say the same for the Red ones.

This isn’t helping one iota......we’ve got Ronk in his 70’s saying go all out bling.....and Sars in her 50’s being an old timer.... :dizzy: :sos:

Yes and that’s a classy and stylish 50 I’ll have you know and I bet Ronk had a white suit in his 30’s walking like a woman’s man

Ronk spotted out and about yesterday....he had no time to talk....

Leave John Alone, he had a very hard paper round as a lad. He may look 60+ but he's not :exitright:

I had a 48 hr test drive, tail end of last summer in a white G29 with the red seats and..........
Loved the actual seats, but that is not red imho! It's more blood orange.

(Expecting flack now! ;-))

No it was more the John Travolta look, rather than that stylish old git look :D

and yes the red is more orange than the e89 red, cognac all the way for me

The case for black on black is strong too however.....especially when dropped on some 20’s....
