Red or Clear third brake light??

My red one has broken (whos hasn't?) :rofl:

Anyway what do you guys think? Red or Clear for the new one?

I have a Titanium Silver Z so I'm leaning ever so slightly towards clear!

I've got clear on my Silver Z , thinks it really suits the Silver ones

Yes clear on light coloured Zs and red on black Zs IMHO this way works I personally don't think clear looks right on black Zs should look great on silver

clear on silver silver/grey cars vanishes and looks odd.

We have a clear one on our black M and think that looks good...

Mine broke into two pieces yesterday so needs replacing...think I will stick with red.

Next question where's 'best' (by that I mean cheapest) to get them from seeings as though they cost £50.00 +!!

I saw how clear would look up close on a fellow forum members Z when I sold them my hard top, and it did look nice.

I know what you mean Wyldie85 it does blend in, although looking neat or odd is a matter of opinion.

I'm still swaying towards clear, worst case scenario I hate it and buy a red one haha

After thought, Clear third break light, then switch the side indicators to clear also???

I want to clear my headlights too as I have the orange hockey sticks atm. Clear all round would look neat IMO.

I glued my red one back together. Can't tell unless you go up really close. Works perfectly.

Tried a clear one on my Silver Z and never liked it I also thought it looked odd so I stuck with red I have the early brake light without the thick rubber surround

Red looks much better on any colour zed in my opinion, matches the rest of the lights at the rear which are mainly red
