REd oil pressure light

Hi everyone, The red oil pressure light came on. I replaced the sensor, but the light is still on. I connected a manual oil pressure gauge and got 75 psi. Is there another sensor? Where does the computer get the oil pressure? How do I check if the wire going to the sensor is good?
Thanks for your help.

Budget and decent scanner may be mutually exclusive….

Either bmw tool set on a pc or Bimmergeeks Protool….

Many cheap scanners just don’t cut it with advanced bmw electronics especially if a test program is required to verify the integrity of a sensor

Yes, is a N52. The strange thing about the sensor is that I've already replaced three different ones, including the one in from my other 2012 BMW 328i, which are all identical. That's why I'm leaning toward it being electrical, and I don't know how to check if the connector cable is bad. I connected a multimeter, but the readings were weird.

Well seems like a simple switch according to TIS

Oil pressure failure on n52 is rare..

Other factors I suspect
