Red interior desires. Am I mad??

My interior is currently full black leather with heated M-Sport seats but I'm bored of the black and have a real want for red leather.

Pretty certain I won't find a swap for matching red leather M-Sport seats so thinking about standard red sport seats instead. Is this a terrible plan? Are standard sport seats really that bad in comparison?
 
Your mad in my book. :thumbsup: A bit of what you fancy does you good though. :D Find some red sports seat from some where though.
 
Like for like buddy. Try find red sports seats

My E91 has standard seats and they are OK, but my Z4 has M-Sport ones - no way would I consider swapping them for non-M ones! :o

Out of curiosity, what colour is your car OP?

Ooh yes, I can see red looking very nice in that. :thumbsup:

I'm not a fan of black/silver/grey with black interior - which seems to be a bit of a challenge with an E85/E86!

I hope you find red M-Sports. :thumbsup:
 
Terrible plan! I went from the erm normal ones to the sport or M style ones (whatever they're called!), much better.

Doing the swap, the other way round, just for the colour is a backwards step. If you want to do it, do it properly and wait for M-sport style red seats...
 
To be honest, getting the leather replaced on your own may be the best option as above. The red sport seats always seem to sell at a premium, although they do look lovely (not biased, honest! :rofl: )
 
I'm with you on the red leather.... My initial search criteria for a Z4 was exactly that, Grey with a red interior! I then went to see a montego blue with pearl grey and fell in love! but it's a bit*h to keep clean!

Personally I wouldn't swap M-Sport for regular sport seats but that's your decision, best of luck with your quest! :thumbsup:
 
I want red leather in my Zed too but wouldn’t swap to standard seats though
 
Oooh, arrrrr, red leather M sport seats.

They are the dogs danglers especially when they darken to a crimson red...

Cheaper by far to get them retrimmef, as least you know electrics are all in order
 
My car is silver with red leather interior. Colour looks burgundy rather than bright red. I do get comments about how nice the colour combination is and I have now painted the calipers in the similar colour which looks really nice.
