Anyone else been watching the New series?
I have and have to say, loving it, they've still got it. :D :D
 
Yes, have been a dwarfy since the very first episode and haven't missed one, last weeks was very funny :thumbsup:

I love Red Dwarf, but have missed them all so far :(

Already getting grief about the amount of stuff that suddenly seems to be getting set record remotely from somewhere, no way I'm missing the 5th and final series of Fringe :D
 
Yep - fantastic show, I will never forget the first time I saw the end to the original series ie Rimmer vs the Death/ the Grim Reaper fantastic stuff :rofl:

"Holoship" is my fav, the scene with the hologram that boards star bug and begins cataloguing the crew and its cargo, especially as Lister becomes so incensed he chews and swallows his cigarette and threatens said holographic officer with a holowhip.

Suffice it to say the officer skiddadles rather swiftly!

I have to say though, Mr Flibbles is the greatest villain of all time and has been a previous forum alias of mine..

It's certainly better than the last "special" they did. Although it feels a bit forced at times, they've definitely tried to get the old humour back.
I recently watched all the series in order but couldn't bring myself to watch the special, but I think I'll need to just to try and understand how they got to where they are now.

Seeing a round torso'd Kryton with a very pointy nose and wrinkly eye sockets was the funniest thing in the first episode of the series though :rofl: I don't think it's the best suit he's had. :roll:
 
It was never the same after Rob Grant & Doug Naylor split. New series is OK, but for crying out loud, I hope they dont bring kochanski back.
 
Its not as funny as previous series by far. I was actually disappointed by the first episode of X, though some of the later ones are funnier.
 
Been watching, and the one thing that would have improved it for me so far was if that bit deciding on what the computer would look like had ended up with the original Holly grinning back at them!
