Red carpet treatment

Hi,
i was looking at z8's on pistonheads and i think they look amazing with the red interior.
This got me to thinking has anyone re-carpeted their Z4 and how hard was it.
i also thought of red leather coverings for all the aluminium trim any opinion's or experiences would be welcomed.

Years back I had a 2.0GL Capri that had red carpet, red seats, red door cards.
Only car I ever owned with it's own boudoir! :D
It sounds great on paper, but I'd be careful you don't overdo it.

I had all red interior in my Alfa Spyder (916). It was pretty gorgeous but it was very bold! I felt like a pimp!
