Recommended cheap diagnostic equipment for E89?

I have a £10 WiFi OBD2 reader from eBay and use the BMWhat iPhone app for simple diagnostic. That's the cheapest.

I recently bought a D-CAN cable off eBay from cable-shack for £40 and that allows me to use DIS/INPA/NCSExpert for full diagnostic and coding.

Both work well for diagnostic. The benefit of the using DIS/INPA for diagnostic is that you can read shadow codes.
