Recommendation

Hi,

My car is due a service, can anyone recommend a decent independent garage in the Halifax/Huddersfield or surrounding area. I have read a few good comments about Peter Van Der Veer in Marsden, trouble is they are not that recent, has anyone used them recently?

Any other garages that are worth using? I was just in JCT600 in Bradford so I asked the question, How much? It's an oil and filter change plus a new pollen filter, £230 :thumbsdown: It maybe me who is a bit tight but I think that they are taking the p--s :roll:

I paid £270 for brake fluid, oil change and filters change at at stratstone BMW.

So £230 seems a bit steep for that without the brake fluid.

Have you tried getting a service quote from Sandal?

Buy your own oil and filters from somewhere like Europarts and take them to any garage and it should half the price you have been quoted

Hi Nanu, Car only has 7500 miles on it and is on the used car warranty, I want to stick with genuine parts and a stamp in the book, cheers anyway!

I am still under warranty and bought genuine parts and got the book stamped. Just doesn't have to be done by a BMW dealership to keep the warranty
