Recommendation for Indy in Derby

Had my oil service done at Hughes Brothers in Derby and very impressed. Charged £57 (own oil and filter supplied), cleaned the car and did the whole thing in under an hour whilst I waited. Did a full check over of the car with report as opposed to the BMW literal oil change and very competent plus they greased the sticking bonnet catch without me asking or pointing it out. Good selection of BMW, Mercs and Porsches in the workshop. If you are in the Derby, East Midlands then one to consider. I would certainly go back for inspection 2.

Are they experienced with doing the valve clearances, as doing an oil change is one thing (even I can do that :P ), but taking the tiny shims & fingers out is another :thumbsup: :P

Did you get an idea of prices for Inspection 1 & 2?
 
Experienced with M engines and all the necessary. Didn't get a price. I was just glad to see over 15000 miles before I need to worry about that.
They had a Boxster in with a removed engine/gear box and axle and is in for a total re-build after a total failure. Timing belt of something similar. I would be confident with them doing my next inspection.
 
I can second this recommendation, they were very good and honest when i dealt with them, sent my car to them to look at roof i thought the motor was going, they knew the bill was be covered by warranty given by garage i bought the car from, and they checked it all and said it just needed lubricating, was really pleased with the result but also their honesty.
 
Awesome... will add this to my list.... another recommendation near Derby is Burton Motor Worksop (BMW) they had an autologic and programmed lots of stuff for me!

They plugged it in and went through the stuff they could do on the autologic touch screen thing.

I got the triple indicator, auto door lock, roof up from key and a memory seat set to my key for something like £26.
