Recommendation for garage for E89 N20 mega maintenance somewhere near to Scottish Borders

My E89 with N20 engine and ZF box is being treated to a mid life maintenance update.

Revised cam chain and tensioner, new oil pump drive, plus plugs, coils, ZF oil n filter plus retrofit Quaife LSD.

My garage is great but looking at the barrage of special tools and just sheer spannering required I’m concerned they may be boys asked to do a man’s job.

So I’m thinking of B for BMW in Glasgow , Mr Vanos, Durham Dave, Zedshed to call and ask for a quote..

Any comments , observations or alternatives pls?

I have been using B for BMW for the last 5 or 6 years with no problems.
Its only really been for servicing and MOTs with the odd part swapped out but they are very professional and will actually talk to you about your car.
I think I have seen that you have been gathering parts yourself, I am not sure that they are too keen on using supplied parts although Im sure they will let you know if that is the case.

Nitrix thnx, I did use them for my re-map, they screwed the initial appointment up, but then went out if their way to make good on the second attempt..bit of a hall from where I live but then living in the middle of now does have its flip side.

Thnx fir the heads up on the parts..obviously I wa getting them for my local garage and in this case it was very important to get the very best oe supplier parts..
