I've got one of of those, it's pretty good. Otherwise, try the Dualit industrial ones,expensive but very durable.

Depends what you want to spend and how many slices you want it to toast i guess.
 
I was after a Dualit but, if you look at recent reviews, the quality has dropped way off. It seems that people are still loving their 10-15 year old models but anything built in the last few years has a much higher failure rate.

In the end went for one of these - Sage Smart Toaster

About the same cost as a Dualit, and makes decent toast - very heavy, the body is one-piece solid brushed aluminium, and the motorised lift is uber-cool

We've got a delonghi thing that looks nice. Had it a good few years now. Not the cheapest, but good value imo.

Tefal Toast 'n' Egg. Best toast I've ever had but only 2 slots. Handy for eggs too if you're just making for one.

Toaster???

All you need is a nice coal fire burning and a long fork - yes that was FORK. Can't beat a nice long fork eh? Great way of making toast, us norveners have been using the long fork method for years :)

Thanks guys. I popped to Curry's and got a Bosch one. I liked the smooth looks.
Also got a tin of beans so Mr M could have his tea :lol:


While I was there a One Cup water boiler thing caught my eye so I bought it to replace my kettle.
Quite impressed with it so far.

Mr M got a cuppa with his beans on toast.
