Ah! so 18.1 megapixels on a 1/2.3 sensor. Should be able to get some great shots with that and with the 20 x zoom. Do you have a holiday booked soon as I'd love to see the results, especially from somewhere sunny, more sun usually means much better pictures.

I have a Fuji X100 - a beautiful rangefinder style fixed 35mm f/2 lens on it.
In my view the best 'point and shoot' on the market, and much better buy than the micro 4/3 format and other mirrorless ones out there, though it is quite a specialised device and an acquired taste maybe.

Yes the AF is a bit of a nightmare at times, but I like the fact it really makes you work for a shot, the whole process is a lot more rewarding.

Totally agree; def the closest I've ever got to feeling like I'm shooting with film in both technique and results.
There are some real fans of the X series on Flickr. I've seen some great shots taken with it. I found a big limitation with my Lumix when I realised there was no exposure compensation. Still, mustn't grumble for the price
