My (and all) halogens are basically crap and I liked the HID kit I fitted to a car I had a few years back but that was a pain in the arse as the lenses needed cut to take the bulb.

Can anyone recommend a decent kit that should just fit right or only requires minimal work? Preface 2003 Roadie

Also what's preference for temp? I had 5000k previously and it was nice and white without going blue .

Cheers

I have one from HIDs Direct - H7 35w Slim Canbus Terminator HID Xenon Conversion Kit.

I got 4300K but 5000 would be alright too and it all fits within the headlight.

Do you get any flickering if you leave the lights on the 'auto' setting?

I used to have a HID kit in mine, but on start'up, they used to flicker a lot. Only way to get rid of it was to turn the lights off and then back on again, or to not use the 'auto' setting at all.

I don't think they flicker, certainly when they come on they just come on.

Our 330 flickers on startup with LED headlights but it's just the bulb monitoring currents and stops after a second or so.
