Recieved my Coco Floor Mats Today

My old mats were getting really rough, so I conferred with my spouse and she picked out the mats.

The choices were black with red piping, like the seat or black/red Coca mats..

This was her choice. Not sure why the seats look so washed out in the pictures.
Not everyones cup of tea, but she likes them.

They actually look better on the car than in the pictures.

They look good!

But

Aren't you afraid of roaches eating the cocoa!!

I usually just mix mine in milk!

So Ship where did you get the mats, just got my Summer 2008 Fasttimes flyer from Bavarian Autosport and they look very much like the Coco mats on special. Wondered what you think of the quality as my original BMW Z4 mats need replacing as the foam has separated from the back. Don't know why the 2 mats for a roadster are the same price as 4 matts for a sedan tho, doesn't make sense. On sale for $109.95 They say in the ad that BMW Cocos are $170.

I got them from Bavarian Auto. Sale price of $119.00. Even though they were for the Z4, the box had four mats in them.

I may try to see if they fit behind the seats...

These have a rubber nub backing. The edges have a leather like sewn edging.
They were shipped from the factory..

So, how are they? Any sliding, bending or folding? Inquiring minds want to know. :scratchhead:

Not sure yet. I have not driven on them. Only received them yesterday evening.

Currently detailing the Zed...

You can take a close look while at HC.....

Why go for these over the regular carpet mats then?

I guess they're more hard wearing but it's not like you'd get through a set of normal mats all that quickly.

They certainly go with your seat covers  now all you need is a surf board strapped to the rear of the car :tumbleweed:

Must be a US thing, have to say it's OEM for me interior wise

I ususally ride solo in my Z4 and the driver's side mat is showing considerable wear after about a year and a half. If the coco mats hold up I'd be inclined to pick some up. Plus, since I have the Imola red interior, the coco mats with black & red would look :tits

I looked at the Coco mats because of longevity.

I remember Rick had a post about them awhile back....

I do think that the black with red piping would look better, but the boss decided... Her vote counts more....

I'm on my 3rd set (3 different cars, not worn out!) from cocomats.com. They've FANTASTIC. The quality is incredible, they look awesome, they're heavy as hell due to thick, nibbed rubber backing and don't move one millimeter. The cocomats.com guy warns against imitators.. no experience personally with any other brand.

Here's my set.. I love 'em. REALLY look nice, pictures do them no justice.
