We went on a euro road trip last week, me, SWMBO, and my friend and his wife in their 640 Cabriolet.

We set off for Folkstone at 4am last Tuesday morning

From Calais we travelled to Dijon via Reims for our first nights stop, Dijon is a lovely place, highly recommended if you're travelling through France,

Thursday we went and drove The St Bernard's Pass, I've done this a few years ago when I did the Barmy To Barcelona Banger Rally, in a £125 Peugeot 406, have to say its much better in the ///M :-)

When we left Switzerland we drove about 585 miles to Lille via a mixture of toll roads and A roads

From Lille we went to Bruges for Saturday then off to Calais for the return leg home, in all we did 1800 ish miles in 5 days, pretty full on but a fab trip and I'd advise anyone to do it if you get the chance!

Some of my pics have got muddled up somehow but hope you get the picture!

Very nice! We did quite a few of the same places, but I didn't get to see much of Dijon as we got there about 8pm and was away at 8am the next morning.

Only saw 1 Z4 on the whole trip, an E85 that was behind me in France somewhere.

Your trip looked great too :driving:

I think we saw a couple of E85's but no other Z's , plenty of AMG's and a few Lamborghini in Switzerland though 8)

Nothing beats a good roadtrip D  my favourite holidays :)
Did you switch to the 224,s for comfort or to save the tread on the 19,s ?

Thanks Andy

I haven't put my new CSL's on yet but your right, I would've put the 224's on anyway, for comfort and also for fear of damaging the CSL's at the toll booths, Swmbo likes me to get as close as I can ! Fortunately I didn't scrape the 224's

Great pictures and looks like a fantastic trip!

Keep talking about this and possibility of doing something similar.

It's good to read where people have been and the routes they chose to give you an idea!

Glad you had a good time! :driving:
