Recce of NE run brings cancellation. . . .

Despite having to cancel the Feb 1st run Chezsherman, Cherrym and myself had a great run checking out conditions on the route. We used a few new connecting roads which were brilliant and one's we may incorporate into future runs. Another great meet - thanks fellas!

I've been told that the snow is now settling and as expected, conditions have worsened. . . .

Nevermind - we had a great run out in any event - thanks again Mike and Craig.

I think it's the first time over the winter we've had our roofs up :D :thumbsdown:

Doesn't look it, but it was ffffrrrreeeeeezzzzing over the top to Stanhope where we stopped for that first tea break. . . . . :o

But some of the connecting back roads we used to travel across parts of the route were magic :thumbsup:

Well if you've seen my filthy posts you'll know it's not mine. . . :D

Mike's Zed always looks pretty immaculate and Craig's being black is a pig to keep clean.

The main thing is they don't just clean their Zeds they're keen to get them out on the road. :thumbsup:

Shame you had to postpone the driveout but it hasn't gone unnoticed how you "had" to have 2 practice runs :driving: :wink: top man :thumbsup:
Also nice to see the Z clean for once in a while :oops:
 
The Zed needs another clean now :(

Such great roads and scenery - it's no chore to check out routes - great to have an excuse to get out there. :thumbsup:

Strictly speaking we've not cancelled but just postponed. . . going to post up again for March 1st and hope the weather is on side this time.

We shall see. . . .
