Reasonable cost for wheel alignment?

It was recommended by the place that fitted my tyres - the front man was very friendly and reassuring - I asked to see the print out and set up - he agreed and I got to see the (very) young lad that seemed lost trying to set up the Zed and couldn't und a bolt also no weight put in the Zed before setting up . . . . when I got the Zed back I wasn't convinced by the set up it felt very tippy at the front and I got a photo of the computer screen which meant nothing to me when it was done - turns out it wasn't too bad when I had it checked at the next place but it did have a very aggressive set up on the front and the rear camber was out on one wheel. I didn't go back to complain - I didn't fancy them working on it again. . . .
At the next place, AK Automotive - they race MX5s so were very on the ball about set ups - weight in the car before beginning and a discussion about all aspects - really involved experience and filled me with confidence - I was under the car with them for all the work. When they had to use heat on the track rod ends they cooled off the metal with cold wet rags before doing the adjustments - all little pointers to them knowing and caring about what they were doing. And they were cheaper. I'm going to have a bit more aggressive set up when I go back as I think I prefer more turn in - great to have that option though
Glad it ended well though. I had a similar experience at kwikfit on a previous car. I got my alignment checked when having some tyres fitted, though my steering and handling was sweet. They did some minor adjustments. Within 50 of driving I knew something was seriously wrong. I went back and they put it on the machine and things were way out. It then took three of them reading the settings etc to get it anywhere near normal. Needless to say I went and got it done again elsewhere...
Yep, they're great for VX220s and most BMW stuff....worth a visit just to see some of the race cars they always have in the workshop
I finally got round to getting the alignment done at the wheel alignment centre. Friendly bunch and seemed to do a good job. They did point out that the hunter settings requested more negative camber at the back but the adjustment was maxed out on the o/s. They adjusted the n/s/r camber to match resulting in a very similar print out as davecci posted. However I was low on fuel and they didn't put any weight in the boot. They agreed that fuel/weight would give it more camber but still didn't put any in!

And he even recently scanned my TT for free! And being a tight wad I took it to Audio with the print out for them to do it under the warranty !
