Rearview Mirror

Rearview mirror. Was once auto-dimming but no longer, it's missing it's clown nose so I imagine the fluid evaporated out of there. Perfectly fine as a normal rearview mirror.

£9 + postage or collection from NW London

Since it's no longer auto dimming: I assume it cannot be flipped with a lever like the manual mirrors to switch to night mode..?

I don't believe so. It seems to be permanently stuck on dim (blueish tint), which I hadn't actually realised until I put a new one it. Didn't have any trouble seeing through it day or night, but understand it might put some people off. The only reason I replaced it was to add the clown nose back

I work with a few people like that. :D

But seriously.............. I took delivery of a pair of auto-dimming door mirror lenses recently and they were very dark. I believe the magic fluid needs voltage through it to clear and when that is disconnected it goes dark.

Correct, I probably just got used to them as I didn't know any different. Maybe mine has a bit more fluid as it's still very much reflective.

Offers are welcome as I have no use for it. Maybe for a coupe seen as you can't see out the back anyway
