Rear window demister faulty

Hi all

Im after your advice please, which switch do you use to clear the rear window?-Its a bit embarrassing to ask but my instrument panel has 1 x push button switch on one of the three main dials we all have but when iIpress this everything goes nuts sounds like an airplane taking off but this has zero effect on the rear window and the other similar button also has no effect on the rear window either.

I'm assuming you have an E85 Zed.....

The push button switch in the centre of the left hand dial is for maximum defrost/condensation removal hence the fan going to maximum capacity and only clears the front screen and side windows, useful first thing in the morning to quickly clear the front screen - it does not operate the rear demist. From what you say with the noise this is operating correctly.

The rear screen demist is the bottom left push switch on the centre dial with an orrange warning light when its switched on. This should - if working - demist the rear screen, if not then you have a problem. Fuse check first.

checked the fuses 20 and 25 and they appear fine to me, what to check next please?
