Rear Tyres

Due to the left rear wheel needing replacing this weekend, I am on the hunt for two new rear tyres.

As this is the first time changing the tyres on the Z, what would people suggest? Looking at £130 max per tyre. Size is 255/35 R18 94Y

Assuming non runflat then £100 / £130 gets you a great choice from

£100 Uniroyal RS3
£102 Hankook Evo2 K117
£117 Vredestein Vorti
£118 Goodyear F1 E2
£131 Michelin PS4

all prices with delivery to your door found on tyreleader

Thanks very much - need to clarify whether runflats are on the car already as have been told different things from two garages.

Any runflat suggestions just in case?

Assume if runflats are on the front, can't go for non on the back?

If you have non-run-flats on the front, put the same on the rear.

If you have run-flats on the front, dump 'em and put non-run-flats all round.

As for mixing, even on different axles, that's not a good idea.

Checked today and currently have non-runflats.

Any preference on the ones above? How much of a difference could I expect between one of the above and a BMW recommended tyre such as the Michelin Pilot Sport 3?

yes, on the Z4 M they did non-runflats. Pilot sport if i am not mistaken.

Op has an e89 and not an e85 though, they never produced an M car on the e89 underpinnings :?
