Rear tyre milage

Hi
I have just got 20K miles out of a set of rear Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's
How does that compare with any of you guys? or Gals
 
About 18k out of my SuperSports, but 90% of that is motorway so doesn't scrub too much rubber away. The rest is track days, ring trips and weekend hoons.

Was getting about 12k out of the OE Conti SportContact M3.
 
I got 26,000 miles off the rears for the E350 and it has so much torque I can momentarily stop the planet spinning :D

I'm just careful pulling out of junctions as that's the killer for rear tyres.
 
I recently just got some new Vred Vortis after getting 19k from the first set of Vortis. Had a hunter alignment both times and the first set wore very evenly across the tyre.
 
Changed my rears a couple of months ago - original factory tyres were on - 28K miles
Fronts still going strong, should get over 30k :driving:

If you have an e85/86 surely factory supplied tyres would be past their safe date?
 
My vred vortis are down down there wear makers on the rears and I don't think I've covered over 10k been on just over a year. Worn nice and evenly tho :)
 
Wish my Falken Z1Bs would wear out - fitted in error last year - ready to fit Eagle F1s like the fronts. . . .

After 20,000 miles on my PSS all 4 tyres are down to 4mm. :driving:

At this rate I might get another 10,000 miles. :trampoline:

The additional cost of going premium seems to have paid off. :thumbsup:

If they're ditch finders. Bite the bullet and dump them. New a pair of tyres cost less than accident or injury!

Not sure - car is an 08 plate with tyres manufactured in 08
My trusted local mobile fitter checked them over and said they were fine - no issues as long as no signs of perishing and side walls ok- web seems to say the same - 'regular checks after year 5, replace if you ever get to 10 years'
Having said that my wife's Michellins were perished to hell in no time at all - I guess a lot depends on how the car is used, garaged etc
