Rear trailing a bush.

With the correct tool about 30 mins each side going steady, it's not a difficult job. Well worth doing though.

This. Make sure you have the right tool. Will make everything much easier! The driver's side for me was stubborn to get out but the impact gun made things easier.
 
'Right Tool' ? Any specific one please?

I'm considering doing these an the 'lollypops' on our car. Drove it yesterday for the first time in months, it's my wife's daily, and noticed the annoyingly 'wandery' steering over 60mph. Seems to tug for a bit then it's OK for a while, doesn't seem to be a sticky steering column.
 
You'll need a couple of long bars with 16mm sockets I believe, as the torque of the bolt through the bushing is around 110nm, quite tight!

You can find specific press kits for the job on eBay for around 30 quid, or spend a bit more, circa 100 quid, and get a kit with a load of different cups and plates to do near enough any bushes on the car.
