I have noticed a lot of peopole having problems with teir rear spings on the M cars.

It may sound like a stupid question, but how do you know if they are broken? Mine dont seem to be visable behind the wheels? are they still there?

Thanks

Get it jacked up and take the wheel off. Take a look

Agree and if they are broken it's normally the bottom coil which then sits in the lower housing and rattles like a ball bearing in a bean can when you hit a bump.

It is usually the lowest turn at the very bottom of the spring that breaks. The broken segment rarely may fall out, but let's hope the rest of the spring is still there! :)

edit: doh! I was distracted mid-posting so you beat me to it AlanJ!
