Hi guys .
I have just checked my rear spring,s as it's
Mot time next week , I wondered what the little paint colours are or mean I have a blue mark on one side and a green mark on the other .
Can any of you guys shed any light on this :|
Cheers .

I think the blue mark denotes M sport suspension, I had a mismatched pair and managed to find a blue one on ebay. Dealer and part number confirmed this. Perhaps green are SE standard???

That does explain things a little.
I will be looking to replace them sooner than I thought now as I can't be having a mismatched pair . .

Unfortunately I don't think it's that simple's, I replaced a busted rear spring on my 2003 2.5 SE (non M Sport) fitted by BMW under warranty according to the paperwork, they were coded BLUE. When I researched the colour codes I couldn't find any official info from BMW and other forums and parts sites were all all over the place.
