Rear spring alignment

Hi
My 2013 Z4 has developed a creak / clonk from the rear end after the mot & subsequent jacking. I have read the rear springs can move & was searching for the technical note on this please. Currently the S1 writing faces to the rear. Any ideas please

Have you checked the drop links? Had a clunk from the rear on mine and it was a snapped drop link.
 
It’s the damper rather than the spring that ‘sticks’….

Drop links are attached to the rear ARB

Well the ARBs need to inspected on a hoist / lift with a pry bar..if it’s broken it’s obvious ..if it’s worn a pry bar should provoke it enough to see the play..

If it’s the damper then you can try talc on the body ..

Hi
I’m still picking up on this clunking / creaking from the rear end after this year’s mot . How do ifix the sticking damper please?
