Rear spoiler for Coupe

I keep toying with the idea of a spoiler for the rear of the car...

At the minute the only contender is the ACS one as personally I think the Carbon lip spoiler is a little too small and insignificant on the car.

Only problem is I think £700 for the ACS one is just far too expensive so I've been trawling the net.

I have found this one but not sure on whether it would work or not. I kind of like the street racer look and think it may complement the stealth look of the car but I'm not entirely convinced.

What's the consensus on here?

Oh and if anyone has an ACS lying around that they dont want then feel free to get in touch :D

I was thinking maybe the mid section or the ends in carbon fibre and the rest in Sapphire Black...

the ACS is the one to save up for - theres nothing quite like it out there. also quite rare to see them on Coupes... all black or all CF would be my houghts on the finish... either way it will be another small step for the batmobile! 8)
 
I have a ACS on mine, and i am always thinking does it need it or not?
The rear of the coupe is so nice anyway i don’t think it needs one. To be honest i bought the car with it on so i have just left it but still have my doubts, however it is nice to be different from all the others too and if you were to buy one save up for the ACS one. :D
 
Personally I find the back end of the coupe the best looking part. I'm actually not that impressed by the front end in all honesty, but the roof line and boot lip on the back are fantastic. No other coupe comes close..

I wouldnt bother myself but as with all mods, if you like it, want it, do it!
 
personnaly i'm not ken on the 1 you have posted, i think the coupe can look good with a spoiler, nothing too big though

if i recall correctly, both sixspeed and flatout have spoilers fitted, they look good

I think it looks ok, but is sitting on the fence between subtle (but cool) and full on in your face style.

All IMO of course

Thanks for all the replies guys.. Im sitting on the fence with this one too. Its hard as once its fitted theres no going back without buying a new hatch. I too think its sort of inbetween subtle and in your face.

If it was black with carbon fibre ends or vica versa then It would complement my rear diffuser maybe?

If you remember I was enquiring about the Carbon Lip spoiler sometime back for my Coupe and I believe I created a thread regarding the ACS Spoiler too...

The thing that sticks in my throat is the price tag too...£700 for the spoiler, then it needs painting and fitting, by the time you are done you aren't going to get much change from £1000...for a spoiler!!

I know what you are saying about how small the Carbon Lip Spoiler is but a small subtle touch is what has swayed it for me, as others are saying the rear of the Coupe is the best part about the car anyway, plus I can stomach the £250 outlay!!

Thanks what I'm treating myself to this Christmas!
 
No no no no a thousand times NO, leave that kind of monstrosity to the Saxo and Corsa brigade.
 
I say give it a go, if you dont like it then remove and flog it on ebay

Either way it surely cant be worse looking than this
