Rear Spoiler Fitment Clips

Hi everyone - am looking for another answer. . . . I've discovered my rear spoiler is loose on the nearside corner - there are some clips missing but the repairer said that replacement clips were an unusually large size. Any ideas where we might look - our local BMW dealer seemed a bit clueless! Thanks guys. Bloo

I thought it was just glued on with special black adhesive, there is a seperate part number for that I believe. There are two recesses in the bits of the spoiler that touch the boot lid for you to squeeze the adhesive into.

 thanks for that Swiftly - wonder why no-one seems to have known that..... the fitter said he didn't have clips that were big enough and that if we could find some, he would gladly fit them. So some heavy duty glue then! Cheers :!:

Use the BMW glue! As Swiftly says its a black adhesive. You BMW dealer should be able to download the fitting instructions which gives details of the adhesive. It does not dry completely hard to give it some flexibility of movement and resist cracking.

It's called betalink and it's horrible stuff. Make sure you tape up surrounding areas to protect the paint as its a notch to remove.
