Rear speakers

Hi All,

Just joined after picking up my Z a couple of days ago. Loving the 3.0 straight 6.

I have a quick question regarding the rear speakers. They look between 3.5 to 4 ". Also, what are the size of the speakers in the footwell?

Can't remember the rear speaker size but the footwell's are 6 1/2 inch in my E85

I bought a set of Focal component speakers for mine and they sound superb. Interestingly when I took the door panels off I found there weren't any midrange speakers in the doors, just the grilles !
 
Hi, thanks for the response. Now starting to think seriously about the sound build. Can you recall how much depth there is for the speakers in the footwell. I have been searching for the information but little joy. The speaker I want to put in has a depth of 7.5cm.

Okay, so I removed the trims to find out how much depth is available in the footwell speaker recess. It is 7.5cm from the surface to the back of the recess. Hope this is helpful.
