Rear silencers

Has anyone had custom made rear silencers for their M,I like the sound of mine but just like my old Focus think they look ugly,what I am looking for is a slimmer unobtrusive looking finish.

If you painted the underside of them matt black with barbeque paint they would be less obvious.

I had thought about painting mine black to blend them in, this has helped me make up my mind.

Yeah it's a cheap mod if you already like the sound of the standard exhaust.

Never thought of that, I wondered why the Remus came matt black, now it makes sense. The boxes do look buggers.

And I can confirm it's stayed matt black for a couple of years with no maintenance
