Rear Parking Sensors not working

Had a trawl of this and other sites and cant find a definitive answer so am hoping someone has had a similar issue with their rear parking sensors.
When I select reverse I get a continuous tone for around 5 seconds and then nothing, it doesn't detect anything at all.

So far I have checked the sensors and don't detect any clicking of vibrations to indicate a fault. I presumed therefore it was a bad PDC module so have tried another one from a friends car with no difference.
Is it possible for all 4 sensors to fail together, or is there another cause/solution please as it driving me daft.

Could be all 4 sensors but it doesnt seem likely,

I get the same tone but only the one of mine doesnt click.
if it isnt the module have you checked the power to the module? Fuses? Cable break etc?

One of your sensors is or has failed would be my guess

put your hear close to them and you will hear a clicking, if you find one with a fainter clicking than the rest or no clipping at all then you have found your issue :)

Thanks for the reply chaps, I have listened to all 4 sensors and none click, I get a continuous beep for a few seconds then it goes off and then nothing including no click fron sensors.
Could this be a fuse ? maybe.
They did all work up until a few months ago but its now driving me mad trying to find a solution. :headbang:

I would say either the module or a fuse then.

It seems weird all sensors would stop working at the same time

Maybe check fuse and go from there

I had the same issue. However, after a few times I did finally feel the click on the other 3 sensors. So it wasn't consistent that all the sensors weren't clicking. Try it a few times then you might be able to catch it.

The clicking noise is a sign of working sensor but is so faint it is hard to detect sometimes. If you're anywhere near Milton Keynes I could hook it up to inpa and test them for you.

I had a similar problem with my zed had one sensor changed and it worked for a while then stopped again ( long tone no beeps ) removed the bumper and disconnected all the sensors and cleaned all the connecters and it has worked every since. So with mine the cause was 1 faulty sensor and bad connections.

Had the same problem and looked for answers on the forum. I did have one bad sensor, but a bad battery was one of the possibilities too.

Have the same problem now.. Beeeeeep!

I've had my bumper/sensors off the car for paintjobs etc. It's put back carefully with everything properly connected.
Would driving without the sensors give a fault code which I need to reset to get them working..?

I have the same issue, the sensors seem to be clicking so I will try electrical cleaner on the plugs and see if that helps 1st.

Funny enough, the sensors decided to start working again..
Maybe a question of electronics settling in after being off while driving.
