Rear panel question

This is not my car but its a good picture to help explain my issues. Where the 2 panels meet where the redlines are. The left side one of my car is nice and flush, however on the right side the top panel slighly overhangs the lower one where it meets the lights. If you follow it from the wheel arch to the lights its starts of fine then begins to overhang as it gets to the lights. Not a major issue but its annoying me. I am fussy!

Thanks

Is yours the facelift rear? Probably had a little 'tap' on that corner in the past.Best way is to remove the rear bumper and have a look to see why.

My rear bumper ripped clean off the car last week when I went over a housebrick at speed, so I had the good fortune of replacing loads of bumper clips and a wheelhouse at the weekend.

When my bumper came off it must have pulled against the metalwork of the outer skin of the rear rear wheel arch, as the very end of the panel stuck out slightly where it met the light. After making sure all else was in place properly, I just pushed the metal of the wing back into place a couple of mm.
...not sure if it's the same with yours...
