Rear lower shock bolt

Hi all,
tried to get the lower shock bolt off the other day to fit new springs, it would not budge. I had the car on stands, and the bolt was so tight that if I tried jacking up the wrench to undo the bolt, the whole car was being lifted off the stands almost by the wrench! Someone I work with said that it could be a left handed bolt, is this the case for either of the lower shock bolts? I was trying to remove the Drivers side rear shock bolt. If not, has anyone got any advice about how this could be removed, I've tried the usual WD40, shocking it with a hammer, applying heat etc.

I am sure they are normal right hand. If you have tried oil and shock the only other way is heat. But if I where you I would try and borrow an impact gun first.

I used my Clarke 12V mini impact gun to get it off - worked a treat and only £30 from Machine Mart.

These bolts need to be replaced, thread locked and torqued up with the car in the 'normal position' i.e. weight on wheels.
