hi guys, curious to know why my rear lights are white, most z4s i see with these style are usually orange ? or was it an option ?

Face lifted models had white lights and lost the plastic divider.

In 2005 just before the facelift came out they had prefacelifts with clear all around lights.

If you have clear front indicators too its a high chance you have one of those rare models.

Alternatively you can buy clear rears from the dealer (or atleast could) so a previous owner may have swapped them out.

As said above its because of the aero package and could be end if the production line for the pre-facelift? Facelift lights are completely different.
 
Migs car is a 2004.

Those rears look like the fully clear lights that have been tinted.

they have not been tinted , they are standard.
