Rear lights - body coloured trim

I’ve only just noticed how some pre-facelift E85s have a little body coloured trim strip dividing the two parts of the rear light clusters. Some don’t. Was this a model spec difference, or come in/phase out on a particular year? Can these be bought separately and fitted to lights which don’t have them?

Mine had one missing and only available in primer from dealer so bought a rear cluster off eBay with the correct colour strip.

Do you need some? If so, what colour?

Collecting new car on Sunday. It’s sterling grey. Pretty sure these are missing (peeled off?).

If you need some, I have a spare set of the 'french fries' in sterling grey that I can post to you for nothing  Will have a go at removing them today.

A very kind offer sir. :) I ought to at least get the car first I suppose, but potentially yes. Will drop you a PM.

Car looks better without them imo so I just took mine off!
+1
I never put them on when i changed my rear light clusters
I was inspired by this pic,
4 sport rear lights with quad exhaust (2).jpg

when compared to this , 2-3.jpg

neither are my car by the way, just photos I found on here/the net before I bought my 4 clear spot clusters.
The french fries just look pointless to me, they obviousy blend better on black etc but even on these cars removal looks better for me.
The clear 3rd rear brake light works better as well, so I went down that route too, bizarrely its lot cheaper than the red.
