rear lights 04 z4

just purchased a 2004 z4 3.0 se in maldives blue and have just noticed the sections of the rear lights that should be amber are clear ie
the centre circle of both sides does anyone know if these are a mod or after market lights

It's a mod.
I think the white turn indicators are from 2005

Actually the rear lights you have were an option, these also came as part of a 'clear light' pack for the pre facelift cars which also included clear side repeaters. They are quite sought after by pre-facelift owners. I have them on mine, one of the reasons I bought it as they make the back end look so much nicer on a silver car
