Hi all. Anyone fitted one of these before and are they decent quality?

not sure if they are all the same manufacturer. I got mine from ECP when they were discounted - about the same price and those are very good.

looks good to me.
but then the original bmw one is hardly good and fails on a regular basis.
from my research when i had to replace one, i think magnet morelli make the oem one.
probably from the same place.
i paid a bit more through bmw, because they offer a 2yr parts and labour guarantee on it.
if you buy one from other sources, you normally get a year, and if it fails even under warranty, you have to remove it if you fitted it, and return it to supplier to get an agreed replacement.
then if agreed, wait for replacement and then fit.
as they seemed prone to failure, i chose the bmw option.
