rear light corrosion

a few weeks ago the light came on the dash to say a bulb had gone after checking, water has got in the rear light and corroided the connection from the light to the wiring loom.

i bought a new light and managed to salvage the plug!

does anyone know if you can buy a new plug and may be a psrt of the wiring loom??

anyone breaking a z4?

This happened to me too last week, on a two week old sdrive23i. Fortunately covered on the warrenty, but I wasn't happy that it had to go in so quick!
