Rear light cluster - clean or replace

I know about foams as we used various on traffic lights and sensors.
Even with unit pointing down water could enter by capillary action and temperature variation.
So proper closed cell foam needs to be used.
Pretty basic error for a light company to fit that rubber.
 
Ah ok, understood. Thanks again - btw good to see it's not just mine that has the rubbed down barcode, very odd but I'm sure they have their reasons!
 
Looks good - matches really well I think (driver's side is the new Magnetti Marelli unit). Definitely smartens it up!!
