This might be an option from Germany:

When buying a used one, keep care on their conditions! Generation "-12" is the latest stable version of these clusters. This info is not part of the partnumber itself and can be seen only as addon on their labels. All elder versions are mostly broken and tend to get water into.
Eurocarparts and CarParts4Less (part of Euroscarparts) normally stock them, but they are showing as temporarily out of stock, MAGNETI MARELLI 714021850702. I've asked them to notify me when they come back into stock.
I know of someone on Facebook that repairs LED lights, I'm going to get him to repair the 3rd brake light on my RCZ (again no stock available) he's charging £80 compared to over £200 new.
I wouldn't hold your breath, I've ordered from hom this last month, something completely different, and he states 10 days before dispatch. To me that sounds like he gets them from BMW and doesn't hold stock!
Not really, because people will do what they've done on all other marquees when parts have gone out of production and work around it, whether that be a repair being offered or an aftermarket version (two aftermarket versions I've posted above).
I've got to admit though I was under the impression that manufacturers had to keep parts in the supply chain for at least 10 years after the end of production of the car :?
