Rear Glass Delamination

Hi

Having owned my Z4 for a number of years now I noticed last summer that the rear screen was showing signs of delamination, e.g smal pockets of what looks like condensation between the panes of glass. Has anyone experienced this issue and if so did you have it repaired?

I am I right in thinking that its a new rear screen professionally fitted? Anyone had this done as I would be interested in costs etc.

I remember a similar post a few months ago saying that the rear screen was delaminating at the edges, as far as I know it would have to be a new screen, try doing a search for delaminating.
 
Hi

I’ll have a look for that post. In terms of a tint I must admit I’d never thought of that or checked if one had been installed - looks normal to me but it may have a subtle tint.

It's glue that sticks the glass to the frame.
My car has same problem bottom left corner.
Looks like condensation, seems to vary time of year.
I tried poking some paper with black paint to try and cover it.
