That rear is looking good bud - hope you can find a body sprayer that will do it justice :)

You and me both Marlon and cheers. Also good to put a face to a name at the weekend. My first meet and hope to attend some more.

Any of you guys know of a "How to" for the fitting of the skirts?? Is there anything I need to be aware of before I start fitting?? No hidden fixings or nasty surprises??

Other than....don't scratch them!!!! Cheers Jak...

i must be on of the few that wish i had twin to 1 side like u guys do, they are lighter, suit the car better and aren't as shouty as the the quads... which on the z4m at least are stupidly heavy.... the how exhaust must be 50KG plus. i bet your lots isn't.

I hear what your saying there Beedub. Although when i made my quad its lighter than the single exit. I still have twice as much metal than i need under the car. But i wanted the look and the sound and i was happy with it. But when i do get around to the next round of mods on my car it will have 1 central exit straight out the turbo.

But keep going Jablade as it is looking great and if you get a custom made system. It will be lighter than the very heavy BMW system.

Not adding the weight of an extra silencer Beedub. So once I've finished ripping the guts out of the standard silencer and added some extra piping the weight should be about the same...ish...
Cheers MM always good to hear compliments on one's efforts. Can't wait to get the Aero'skirts on and the rear all finished.

S**T, S**T, S**T, S**T....... Well just thought I would quickly fit the new rear bumper to see how it looks.

Now have issue with PDC's. Thought I could just remove the old ones and clip them into the new bumper....alas, this is not so.....

I am in need of some of the actual mounts to fit the PDC's into. Can't reuse the originals because these are bonded to the bumper.

Anybody any idea where I can get some of these from?? Looked on RealOem and can't find them on there...... :headbang:

Well it's been a fair while coming but the modded rear bumper is finally in place.....just need to fill the empty hole with more zorst.

I will be starting your tips this weekend

My advice would be get the fabricated bits up and test fitted before you weld anything. It bloody tight for space the drivers side.

Cheers Mat...

Just got to find someone local willing to cut off existing back box and flange up the remaining pipes and both silencers so I can swap and change about.... :headbang:

Sort of getting there with how it's going to fit. Should be enough room with how I want to do it.

Jingle is right there is loads more room once it's removed.
It is possible without moving it.

Having seen what you have got made up. The only thing I think you may have problems with is the battery box. And getting the second set of tips sat back far enough in the bumper.

Yep accept that. I have since fabbed up a different setup for the outlet/ tips. A bit more compact. I have no pics of it but I can sort some later...
Couple of pics for you Mat.
