How the hell do you remve the hub nout 30mm on the rear to change teh rear disks? I have a compressor and gun on it and still wont budge? Cant seee a split pin, tho does seem cut into spine, but cant see how to remove? Any help would be great.

Thanks

Not changed the rear discs on a Zed but from experience with other vehicles there's no need to undo this nut. Once you remove the caliper mounting there is a single 'rebated' screw in the disc which holds it in place on the hub. Undo this nut and if necessary use a soft faced mallet to knock the old disc from the hub. The build up of rust and accumulated road muck may make the disc look as though ts held in place by the hub nut. Item 3 on the OEM link is the retaining screw to remove. Might have this wrong but I'm sure others will advise.

Never tried to remove them but I know that some cars used to use alternative threads on wheels so to undo them would be clockwise instead of the normal anti-clockwise.........

As Alan says, only thing I would add is that an impact driver (or air tool if you have one) is the best thing to get the screw off with. They very often shear off with a normal screwdriver however dont lose any sleep over it as they are not crucial but just make getting the wheel on easier with the screw in place.

What are you doing? No way do you have to undo that nut

Handbrake off.
Chock wheels
Wheel off
Loosen the handbrake shoes off by working the ratchet back through one of the rear wheel bolt holes (a right PITA) The handbrake operates on the inside of the top hat with old style shoes.

Remove the caliper as you did for the front
Remove the carrier
Undo the samll set scre if it's even there
Take the disc off...
