Hi everyone
Having done the golf T mod on the e89 3.5i
I’m still not convinced it’s enough... so, still think I might need the eisenmann quad after all .
Has anyone fitted a quad? And if so , did you get a quad diffuser? Of cut the original diffuser to fit the quad? Thoughts on this and maybe best place to pick up said diffuser at reasonable price would be appreciated 👍 thanks all

Hey OP,

What sort of noise are you looking for from the exhaust? Is it the general tone? Lack of burbles or even volume?

Hi sunnydays
All you said, I had an eisenmann box put on my e85 , and am missing the sound quite badly, thought I’d be ok with this lovely new toy , but it just doesn’t sound right :?

3D Design does a nice diffuser for a quad exhaust. But it’s somewhere in the region of £1500 so I’d go for the eBay knock offs which are around £360 and look just as good.

Thanks beardyjon
That’s my concern, trying to find one at a reasonable price, think I’ve seen the eBay one you mentioned, just checking for options before jumping in with both feet 👍

I've heard the ebay ones can have serious fitment issues. Not saying pony up the dosh for the real thing, but make sure the seller has a good return policy, take lots of photos if there are any issues, and pay with PayPal, they've got your back covered.

i have a black gloss rear diffuser that i bought of Mr.Wilks and have never put it on the car i had it painted black gloss, will try and up load pics, as fo the price of one of these any suggestions.

I have a quad exhaust on my car. I bought a second hand oem diffuser and my local body shop reshaped both cut outs to fit and painted it. They charged Me £100.
