Rear Corroded Brake Pipes?

Indie reported on replacing the discs and pads and on a 10 year old car not too surprising.

Is this a big/expensive job to sort out? How many are there? I'm guessing two front two back so you may as well get the fronts done at the same time, are the front hoses physically different to the rear ones?

I'm seeing a pack of 4 for £70ish on Ebay, does that sound about right?

Not expensive to buy, just time consuming to replace I'd say.
 
I think I'm getting confused between brake lines, hoses and pipes....can anyone explain?
