Hi Guys,
Had to add myself to the list of broken spring owners the other day and have a question about replacing them.
I have a 55 plate 3.0i SE (76K) which I believe already has M-Tec suspension so I don't want to lower the car any more than it already sits and at the same time, I don't want to get the OEM BMW springs as with the way the roads are where I live, that's just another disaster waiting to happen before its has to happen.
Euro Carparts sell Sachs coil springs for around £60 per side but the description states "For vehicles without M-Technics" so not sure if that includes my car as this is the set that shown when I enter my reg number into the vehicle search or if that specifically relates to Z4M's?
GSF Car Parts have springs listed for £55.80 but they don't mention the brand name and under the description they are just described as "Quality - Premium".
Just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the above springs or if there are any other replacement suggestions that are the same hight as OEM but will outlast them?
Thanks,
Billy
