Rear Clunk Noise

Hi guys,

Some much needed help that is ruining my time in my zed, especially after a tyre blowout, snapped srping and some other driver denting my rear arch!

I've just swapped out all my old original springs to Eibach Pro's and it feels much better, however, since fitting the new springs, there is now a clunk which happens when I accelerate hard or drive on uneven road surfaces, which is all the time on our roads.

Any suggestions as to what it would be, everything was checked prior to fitting the springs and all was ok? Bushes, top mounts perhaps?

Thanks again

My son, Billabongmac, had a similar sounding problem only yesterday. He had both rear springs replaced and on the journey home had a knocking sound over uneven surfaces. Took the car back this morning and it was a rear drop link that was broken.
Could it be this?

Hmmm interesting, I'll have to take it back to the guys who fitted it to see whats happened. One thing after another

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but I'm having a similar issue. I've changed all my suspension to D2 Racing Coilovers and I've got a knocking noise from the rear drivers side on bumpy roads. I thought it was the top mount so I've tightened that as much as I can (which was less than a full there) but it's still there. My springs seems to be seated ok, how do I see if its my drop link thats broken?

Cheers

Julz
