Rear bumper/wing gaps

As with alot of us, I've used the lockdowns as a chance to get various bits done on the car. One thing that's always really bugged me is some of the gaps I have around the rear bumper/rear wing/rear light area. My gaps look alot bigger than everyone else's and the lines just don't sit right. Especially with the small light unit surround piece and the wing, these seem to be pretty flush on everyone else's cars. You'll also seem the bumper/wing line doesn't sit straight, with the wing appearing to jut out a bit.

Here's a few pics but I'd appreciate any advice. Likely to do an all-round bumper bracket replacement on both front and rear soon but I feel like the lines still won't sit right. Is there any adjustment to the wing fit? Can't seem to find much out there on the forums already on this.

Cheers

Barny

Not a lot of big or strong fixings hold the bumper on

There are a 3 or 4 push rivets in the inner wing splash guard on goes through bracket 11
There some little screws in the bottom corner of the bumper
The bumper at the boot/bumper join just pushes together no screws here
Other place there are screws is the cover 6

If you are trying to adjust the bumper it will just be a case of trying to get these all to hold it where you want it

If it is sagging down at the bumper boot join you could try a few small blobs of sealant type glue (something that will pull apart if needed

the little trim pieces around the end of the rear lights can become loose. They can be tightened up by accessing the rear of the light cluster and tightening up the nuts at the outer end. It might help?

Thanks both, I'll check out the rear of the light clusters and work my way through the various contact points.
It may be that I just need to get the bumper off and get everything tightened up bit by bit and see if any fixings have broken. Just seems odd that both wings jut out a bit so unlikely to be a slightly bent panel or anything damage related.

There is a chance someone has backed into something and the bumper has rolled under a little and it therefore could just push back into place, but getting yo stay there could be the hard bit as there is little holding it in place other than some plastic barbs at the boot/bumper join, a good clean and a bit of glue could sort it out for you.
