Rear Bumper Indent

Hope this hasnt been covered a million times before (did have a little search) why is there a small indent in the rear bumpers of Zed's. I have noticed this on many Sterling Grey Zed's pictured on this Forum :? See mine below and forgive the graphics

Just had a look at mine, it has no "dent", there is line where the change in direction of the panel happens , but no indent , tbh looks like a dent . ( not unless my zed has had work done in the past and the indent has been removed )
 
Just had a quick scan and found this pic of Kirsty's Car (newbie) Same issue. Sorry in advance to Kirsty for showing her car just the first I came across on here with the same situation

Sorry can't say I've ever seen it on mine, initial gut reaction was it's been dinged somewhere.
 
That's ok Pauly. I must admit while looking at my car last week I thought it had a dent too, I even went and found another Z4 in the car park to check that mine was fine! x

Yeah like a saddo I have been on the auto-trader site and have found tons of examples of the same thing normally spotted on the sterling greys :?
 
It's more noticeable in certain lights, if you see your pic is very similar to Kirsty's - camera height etc.

The original press pics are here, in some you can't see it.

Its just the way it catches the light. Its a shame really but as long as its not dented it doesn't bother me! x

Cheers Wondermike that explains why I have never noticed it whilst washing it etc.. It just jumped out at me on the photo but as Kirsty said

I noticed the same thing today and was wondering if it's a design or a dent. It's not bad looking but I have the same color and spent the night searching for pics online.
 
Weird. Could always be hidden with a quad system :thumbsup:

Will have to have a proper look at mine at the weekend

Wife took my Zed out the other day, when i came back from work i too noticed a "dent" as i pulled up. Needless to say it caused a considerable arguement as i blamed her. However, on checking i found others with the same indentation, so a swift meal out together and we are again talking!!

Wonder if it was worth buying the meal? The peace and quite was nice lol :?
