Rear brake Disc Size problem. Need help

I've just recieved my new black diamond Discs and pads. I ordered them from venom motorsport online. I got a 2.5 litre engine so ordered the only ones available for that engine size and year of car (2003). Front ones are right size. 286mm vented. After taking off the rear wheel. i noticed the rear dics on the car looked dirrerent. That is if you lay it on the ground flat it measures approx 75mm where the new one is only 60mm (including the dics width). Confused! Checked the part numbers, which are correct. Any idea why mine is approx 15 mm higher? Surely the new one wont fit. My thoughts are something to do the wheel width. I have the upgraded alloys at the time i was told ,18" ellipsoid. the tyres are 255 35 18, now i think the standard ones were 225 or 235 wide? Could this be the problem? Any info apprecited as gonna call them tomorrow and ask if i can send them back for the correct ones. Just not sure if this is my fault or theres. 20 quid ish postage i might add! Guess i should have measured them first!

I had the same thing with my Zimmermann drilled :( They are sitting in my garage as I am lazy to return them and problably fit a 3 series. Next time I will order fronts only and stick with OEM BMW rears since the rear brakes don“t do much braking anyways :)

Black Diamond are selling rear discs for E46 as Z4, they are not the same.Z4 rear discs are 75mm where E46 are 60mm.Only disc that are 75mm ht. fit.Check ht.with supplier first, found EBC discs to be correct.http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15310#

Entirely trhe suppliers error and you should not have to pay for replacements shipping and postage. Also nothing to do with size and type of rim, more importantly the position of the disk relative to the caliper and pads.

Here shows your disc is unique to the prefacelift 2.0 to 2.5 (I just guessed a mid 2003 model)

If they cannot supply matching rears get a full set and switch to another make to retain proper balance
